We’re Getting an Upgrade!
We’re excited to announce that Orchid Island Dog Spa will be undergoing renovations to create an improved boarding experience for our clients and their pets!
About Our Renovations
Temporary Location Change
Beginning February 2, 2026, we will temporarily operate out of Mermaid Vet Hospital while renovations are completed.
What stays the same?
Your pet will continue to receive:
- At least three one-on-one care sessions daily
- Care from veterinary-trained staff
- Individual attention, safety, and close supervision
Although Mermaid Vet Hospital does not have a traditional yard, pets will receive regular one-on-one, leashed outdoor time around the property with our team.
How long will this last?
Renovations are expected to take approximately 9–12 months.
What happens after?
Once renovations are complete, we will return to this location and reopen as:
Mermaid Boarding
A refreshed, upgraded boarding experience
